High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic cardiovascular exercise with less-intense recovery periods. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning. HIIT Me MAX! workouts include a warmup period, eight intense workout periods, and a cool down session. You can use HIIT Me MAX! with a bike, treadmill, or elliptical machine. You can play music of your choice in the background. Consult your doctor before starting any exercise plan.
Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
